Then There Were Three...New Photos

I know I've been lazy. Here are the three remaining photos from my scanned archive. Looks like I'm going to have to scan more pictures soon! ^_^

Pember is a kitty after my own heart. Lazy and cute! What could be better?

Well, okay this is definitely better. Who could resist a kitty in a kitty condo? Even at this age she has a piercing stare. She almost seems to be saying, "You will give me some milk now!."

Yes, this picture is right side up. Toby just likes to look at the world sideways. I guess people aren't that tall if their width is their height.

Toby loves rolling on the floor when she sees someone she loves. I walk up to her and *plop* she falls on her side and starts rolling around.

***Warning*** The kittens in the above pictures may look cute, but don't let their puffy fur and big eyes fool you. If given the chance these innocent looking kittens will bite your toes until you cry. They are also known to keep people up all night with their purrs. Don't give in to their cuteness!

Poser

Toby is always posing for the camera.
She likes to have her picture taken.
Even when there is no camera around she likes to pose in cute and funny positions.


This picture demonstrates the correct kitty scratching procedure.

Toby loves to show off while playing with her milk ring. When she is done playing she hides her toys behind the sofa cushions. She has also been known to hide my art supplies in, and under, the sofa.

Delays! And an update

Sorry, I'm having a little trouble uploading pictures. This will have to be a picture-free update. The kittens are approximately 3 months old now (where does the time go?). They went to the vet last Friday to get their shots. Pember was very brave. Toby on the other hand tried to make a run from the evil needle. Last time Toby tried to make a run for it when she got pricked...so she had to get two shots for the price of one (owch!). Pember is now 2.5 pounds. Toby finally caught up with Pember's old weight at 2 pounds. Both are healthy and crazy babies.

Cage Match

It's Toby vs. Pember in this all star wrestling match. The kitties size each other up. Toby walks to her corner while Pember plays in hers. The match lasts 3 minutes without either opponant hitting the other.

Tiny Little Things

I'm going to round out the night with kitty size comparisons. The kittens were about 6-7 weeks when these pictures were taken.


Meet Peter's foot. His foot is size 13, and is giant compared to the kitties. Pember, overwhelmed the size and smell of Peter's foot, lies unconscious while Toby poses for the camera. Don't let the innocent look fool you. I believe Toby lured Pember to the foot. Why you ask? So Toby can have the water dish all to herself.

I wont tell you how big my feet are, but here are the kittens asleep on my shoes. I led them here so that I could have the kitty litter all to myself (for cleaning purposes, I swear!).

Baby Paws

Here they are just after their eyes had opened. Walter is presently living with her mother on a lovely farm in Ohio.

Meet Toby and Pember

Pember is Toby's big sister. Even though they were born at the same time, Pember takes care of Toby as though Toby were her baby sister. Pember gives Toby baths, and is always nice when she plays with her sister. The two of them take turns playing predator and prey.

Toby is literally the little sister of Pember. Toby's legs are shorter than her sister's. When weighed (at 8 weeks) Toby was 1.7 pounds while her sister weighed in at 2 full pounds!
